This narrative inquiry explored the K–12 educational experiences of adults who experienced homelessness during their youth, examining how housing instability, stigma, and resilience shaped their schooling through Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs and resiliency theory. Findings highlight both significant barriers and the vital role of schools as spaces of stability and belonging, underscoring the need for trauma-informed, equity-centered practices.
