This session will discuss the concept of research-practice partnerships (RPP), a long term collaboration between practitioners, policy makers, and researchers aimed at achieving improvement in education settings. The purpose of this session is to orient participants towards leading concepts of and definitions of RPPs, examples of districts and county offices considering forming RPPs or discussing their current RPP designs. Participants will have opportunities to apply the RPP concepts and advance their learning in relation to their own contexts whether your organization is considering starting a RPP or already engaged in RPPs.
