Educational leaders are expected to use data to advance equitable outcomes, but what does it actually mean to lead with data? While technical data skills are essential, data alone rarely determine a leader’s next decision. Through a panel discussion featuring district leaders from across California who participated in CCEE's statewide Data Leadership course, attendees will explore how leaders weigh competing considerations, communicate difficult decisions, and keep equitable outcomes at the forefront when there are no easy answers. Participants will leave with authentic examples from district leaders and practical strategies for strengthening data leadership in their own organizations.
