Learnings from the Education-to-Workforce District Network

The USC Education Policy Hub (the Hub) has created a new network of Southern California districts focused on improving academic and workforce outcomes for students by leveraging data and analytics in new ways. Leveraging district data sources and an Ed-Fi data warehouse to make analyses easily replicable, USC researchers are providing participating districts with diagnostic analyses highlighting which students are most impacted and potential drivers of why these challenges arise. With design and evaluation support from Hub researchers, participating districts are designing and executing relevant strategies and interventions intended to improve outcomes in an equitable manner. Staff from the Hub and a partner district will jointly present a summary of findings and learnings from the Network’s first year.
