About me
Dr. Jennifer Francone is a dedicated and passionate educator with over 25 years of experience. She currently serves as the Director of Continuous Improvement in the Porterville Unified School District where she works with leaders at all levels to build a culture of improvement across the system. Before working in Porterville, she worked at the Tulare County Office of Education as an instructional consultant and then as the Administrator for the Educational Resource Services department where she began to hone her skills as an improver. Her training with improvement science began at the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching and has since grown through experiences with the Institute for Healthcare Improvement and Huron Studer Education. Dr. Francone began her career as an elementary teacher in the Visalia Unified School district where her children attended and graduated. During her 16 years there she served as math coach, instructional coach, coordinator for coaching services, and site administrator. In addition to her work in public education, she has been an adjunct professor at Fresno Pacific University, Brandman University, and currently at California State University, Bakersfield. She has also served as a Curriculum & Instructional Leadership Academy Director for ACSA and was recently awarded Central Office Administrator of the Year for Region XI.
